Notification Preferences

Control how and when you receive notifications.

Notification Types

Order Notifications

  • New Subscription: When customer subscribes

  • Weekly Order: Before prep day (e.g., Friday for Monday delivery)

  • Cancellation: When customer cancels

  • Modification: When customer changes their order

Payment Notifications

  • Successful Payment: Daily summary of charges

  • Failed Payment: Immediate alert

  • Payout Processed: When funds deposited

  • Dispute Filed: Immediate alert

System Notifications

  • Menu Sync: When plans sync to Stripe

  • Account Issues: Stripe verification needed

  • Updates: New features and announcements

Notification Channels

Email

  • Default for all notifications

  • Can be disabled per category

  • Sent to restaurant owner email

SMS (Coming Soon)

  • High-priority alerts only

  • Failed payments

  • Disputes

  • System outages

In-App

  • Badge counter on dashboard

  • Notification center dropdown

  • Real-time updates

Managing Preferences

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Notifications

  2. Toggle each notification type

  3. Select preferred channel

  4. Save changes

Team Notifications (Coming Soon)

Assign notifications to team members:

  • Chef: Order notifications

  • Manager: Payment notifications

  • Owner: All notifications
