Email and Communication Settings

Manage your email address and communication preferences.

Changing Email Address

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Account β†’ Email

  2. Click Change Email

  3. Enter new email address

  4. Enter your password

  5. Click Send Verification

  6. Check new email inbox

  7. Click verification link

  8. Email updated!

Email Verification

Why Verify?

  • Security: Confirm you own the email

  • Deliverability: Reduce spam filtering

  • Account Recovery: Needed for password resets

Re-send Verification

If you didn't receive email:

  1. Check spam folder

  2. Add [email protected] to contacts

  3. Go to Settings β†’ Account

  4. Click Resend Verification Email

Primary vs Secondary Emails

Primary Email

  • Used for login

  • Receives all important notifications

  • Required for account

Secondary Emails (Future)

Coming soon:

  • Add multiple emails

  • Different emails for different notifications

  • Team member emails

Email Preferences

Notification Emails

Control which emails you receive:

  • Transactional: Always on (order confirmations, payments)

  • Marketing: Optional (new features, tips)

  • Digest: Weekly summary

Frequency

Choose how often:

  • Real-time: As events happen

  • Daily Digest: Once per day

  • Weekly Digest: Once per week

  • Never: Disabled (not recommended for important alerts)

Unsubscribe

Can't unsubscribe from:

  • Payment notifications

  • Security alerts

  • Legal notices

  • Dispute notifications

Can unsubscribe from:

  • Marketing emails

  • Product updates

  • Tips and best practices

Email Deliverability Issues

Not Receiving Emails?

Check Spam Folder

  • Look in Spam, Junk, or Promotions

  • Mark as "Not Spam"

Add to Safe Senders Add these to contacts:

Check Email Filters

  • Corporate email filters

  • Personal rules

  • Forwarding issues

Verify Email Address

  • Go to Settings β†’ Account

  • Check that email is correct

  • Re-verify if needed
